Yellow Hanzi mastery check
Each yellow Hanzi must pass a sound check and a meaning check to turn green.
The grid preserves all 1,000 source positions. 听 occurs twice in the supplied frequency sequence (#204 and #978); the second slot is kept as reinforcement rather than silently deleting it.

Reminders & game feel
Uses your device timezone. For true background push on iPhone, install the site to the Home Screen and run the included push server over HTTPS.
Push not configured yet.
Push stores your browser endpoint, reminder time, and timezone on the configured Hanzi Arcade server. You can disable push here at any time; the server deletes the stored subscription.
Mandarin pronunciation
Native recordings are preferred. If a local syllable is unavailable or cannot play, Hanzi Arcade falls back to Computer Voice automatically.
Audio credits
Native Mandarin syllables are bundled from audio-cmn. See the full credits and licence notice.
